The Institute for Communication Technology Manager (CTM) is one of USC's Marshall School of Business's Center of Excellence. It is devoted to research and education to help an increasingly networked digital industry and its customers grow and prosper. CTM's focus's on technology as a business opportunity, makes it a unique resource, and this focus has been the Center's central theme since its founding in 1985. Today, CTM is recognized as providing high quality support for middle and senior management who see the advancement of technology as a business opportunity if managed properly and a potential threat for those who are blind to its power.
CTM operates as an member and contribution supported research institute. It has three areas of endeavor: 1) research into the complex business issues that are associated with the dynamic and rapidly evolving world to technology, 2) education and communications of forward-looking thinking, and 3) support of business and strategic needs of the CTM member companies. The mission of CTM is not consulting or to provide market analysis but to provide tools, techniques, and other assistance needed to allow companies to embrace the opportunities available in an dynamic and tech-centric world.
